The Inspiring Moment: Bee Rub®
After years of not finding what she was looking for in massage oil—and massage oils are so messy when the bottle is knocked over— Barbara decided to develop a non-greasy drip-less skin conditioning solid massage oil. After a number of tries, she hit on the perfect synergy of beeswax and all natural plant butters and oils that produced the quality that she was looking for: a soft massage bar that would be totally fluid as long as she was rubbing it on, but one that would be absorbed and nourish the skin at the end of the massage.
In fact, though it's a superb massage oil most of our customers buy our Original Bee Rub® as a skin softening conditioner. Dry, chapped, even cracking skin has been successfully soothed with Bee Rub®. Barbara's father-in-law was a severe case: the skin of his hand would severely crack and bleed. He had been using cortisone cream for a number of years. He started using Bee Rub®. That was over ten years ago, and he hasn't had to use cortisone since. Our customers often give us similar reports.

About Our Factory
Well, actually we don't have one! Bee Rub® skin care products are artisan-made by Barbara at Raynblest Farm, a small family farm run by Gus and Barbara Eberhardt. Situated on 42-acres of mixed orchard and evergreen forest, produces prunes, bee products, and exotic plants and fruits using an all natural farming methodology.
We value the health of our family and our environment. We don't use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Instead, we adhere to a Better Than Organic philosophy of agriculture. Using a permaculture concept, we seek to mimic the structure and interrelationships found in natural ecologies. This philosophy, and our plain make-it-work farm ethic, are embodied in all our products.
